NOTES:

(a) In addition, fifteen holdings, aggregating 584 acreas, are in possession of the Land Commission, having been transferred by way of exchanges.

(b) The area of lands on hands is subject to constant fluctuation. In County Offaly, since 1st April, 1961, an aggregate area of some 1,000 acres has been distributed among 60 allottees.

(c) It is not practicable just at this time of year, to indicate the particular estates which will be ready for distribution during the next allotment season. As many as possible of the above estates will be allotted before 31st March, next.
