Vol. 196 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Holidays of Forestry Workers.

46.

asked the Minister for Lands the manner in which the holiday period for forestry workers is assessed; and when it is proposed to introduce the five-day week for such employment.

Forestry workers are allowed holidays in accordance with the provisions of the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1961. With regard to the second part of the Deputy's question, I am not in a position to make a statement in the matter.
