Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Garda Stations.

104.

asked the Minister for Justice the number of Garda stations which were built in 1960, 1961 and up to the present in 1962.

No Garda station was built in the year 1960, three stations were built in 1961 and two stations have been built in the present year to date.

I may add that the Commissioners of Public Works have the building of 17 stations in hands at present.

105.

asked the Minister for Justice the number of official married quarters for Gardaí which were reconstructed in 1960, 1961 and up to the present in 1962.

106.

asked the Minister for Justice how many Garda stations were reconstructed in 1960, 1961 and up to the present in 1962.

107.

asked the Minister for Justice the number of (a) Garda stations and (b) Garda houses approved for reconstruction in 1960, 1961 and up to the present in 1962.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 105, 106 and 107 together.

I understand that the Office of Public Works is not in a position, in the time available, because of the necessity to consult local offices, to furnish the information asked for by the Deputy. If he will repeat the Questions in, say, two weeks' time, I hope to be in a position to supply the information.
