Vol. 199 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Stenographer's Notes of Circuit Court Cases.

65.

asked the Minister for Justice the number of persons, if any, who were unable to prosecute an appeal against their conviction in the Criminal Circuit Court, or were embarrassed in the prosecution of such appeal, by failure to obtain a copy of the stenographer's notes of their Circuit Court trial; and whether, if possible, he will describe the circumstances in each such case.

Inquiries which I have made indicate that there are no persons in the position described by the Deputy. If, however, he has any particular case in mind, and lets me have details, I shall look into the matter.
