Vol. 200 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Housing Scheme.

36.

asked the Minister for Local Government when tenders are likely to be invited in connection with the erection of eight houses at Knockanalig, Castleisland, County Kerry.

Final documents, which incorporate some amendments to plans previously approved for this scheme, were received from the housing authority on 8th instant and are being examined. When approved it will be open to the housing authority to invite tenders for the scheme.

Will it take long more?

The documents were received in my Department on the 8th.

They have been up and down for the past 12 months.

That may be so. If the delay was cut out at other ends, it would not be so obvious at this end.
