asked the Taoiseach (a) the amount of honey imported into this country for jarring and sale here in each of the past five years, (b) the average retail price per lb. of such imported honey, (c) the amount of Irish honey exported in each of the past five years, (d) the average price per lb. paid to the producer for such Irish honey, and (e) the amount of Irish honey produced, jarred and sold in this country in each of the past five years.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the available statistical information relating to internal and external trade in natural honey. Particulars of the average retail price of imported honey or of the average price paid to producers in this country for exported honey are not compiled.
Separate data are not available for jarred and section honey.
