asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that the owners of houses and lands in the area of The Cliff, Callinafercy, County Kerry have suffered grave inconvenience and severe losses owing to the continued flooding of the River Maine in the area; and whether he will take steps to eliminate the danger of the recurrence of such flooding.

Representations for the inclusion of this area in the River Maine drainage scheme are under consideration by the Commissioners of Public Works.
