Vol. 202 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Traffic Regulations Booklet.

20.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government whether there is available to members of the public a booklet containing orders, regulations, bye-laws and rules made under the Road Traffic Act, 1961 and now in force; and, if so, where, and upon what terms.

A statement of orders, regulations and bye-laws under the Road Traffic Act, 1961, setting out the position as at 1st March, 1963, was recently prepared by my Department. The public were advised in the daily newspapers on 19th, 20th and 21st March that copies were obtainable on application to the Department of Local Government, Road Traffic Section, 121 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2. A copy was issued free of charge to every person who applied, and copies are still available.

I may mention that the statement gives notes of the effect of the orders, etc., concerned. Copies of the statutory instruments involved may be purchased from the Government Publications Sale Office in the ordinary way.
