Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mayo Turbary Scheme.

10.

asked the Minister for Lands if the formulation of a turbary scheme at Clydagh bog, Ballycastle, County Mayo, is now complete.

A scheme has been approved by the Land Commission for development of 1,160 acres of turbary in Clydagh and the adjoining townland of Keerglen at a cost of some £28,000. Allotment of turbary rights commenced this week and further allocations will be made as the development of the bog proceeds.
