Vol. 202 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary School Water Supply.

2.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware of the undue delay in having water and sewerage facilities installed in Loughmore national school, County Tipperary; and if he will take steps to have the contract advertised for tender immediately, as the well has been bored for the past one and a half years.

The Commissioners of Public Works advise me that there are so many of these school improvement cases that an order of priority, based on the date of sanction of the grant by the Department of Education, had to be settled. This Loughmore case was taken in its turn. I am glad to say that the plans are now almost ready and tenders will be invited next month.
