andMr. A. Barry asked the Minister for Local Government if, having regard to the urgent traffic problems involved, he will expedite his decision upon Cork Corporation's application for the making of a bridge order in respect of Parnell Bridge, Cork.

andMr. McCarthy asked the Minister for Local Government when he expects to come to a decision on the application by Cork Corporation for a bridge order in regard to Parnell Bridge, Cork; and if he will deal with the matter urgently with a view to alleviating as soon as possible the present traffic difficulties in the area.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that a decision on Cork Corporation's application for the making of a bridge order in respect of Parnell Bridge, Cork, is urgently required in view of present traffic problems in the area; and if he expects to come to a favourable decision shortly.

With your permission a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to reply to Questions Nos. 68, 69 and 70 together.

The application of the Cork Corporation for a bridge order for the reconstruction of Parnell Bridge, Cork, raises a number of complex issues on which I intend to communicate with the Corporation in the near future.

The Minister is aware of the great urgency.
