Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ferbane (Offaly) Estate.

39.

asked the Minister for Lands when it is proposed to divide the Williams Estate, Falsk, Gallan, Ferbane, County Offaly amongst the many local deserving applicants in the area; if he is aware that many persons who have applied for land on this estate must take conacre in order to exist, and that others require substantial additions to their holdings; and if no time will be lost in dividing this estate in order to relieve local congestion.

It is still too early to indicate when this 137 acre property—which vested in the Land Commission only last week —will be allocated but there will be no avoidable delay. The claims of all eligible applicants will be fully considered by the Land Commissioners.
