Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Meath Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have acquired the Rowntree Estate, Sellar, Nobber, County Meath; and, if not, whether it is their intention to do so.

This estate has not been acquired by the Land Commission but they are having inquiries made in the matter.

41.

asked the Minister for Lands (a) the date on which the Land Commission acquired the McKeever Estate, Rahood, Nobber, County Meath, (b) its present user, (c) when it is proposed to divide the Estate, and (d) if consideration will be given to the provision of cow plots for the convenience of local landless men on the Estate.

The replies to the various parts of the question are as follows:—

(a) 16th August, 1962; (b) Tillage and grazing, under temporary lettings; (c) it is not yet possible to indicate when allotment will take place but the matter will be expedited; (d) yes.
