Vol. 206 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clontarf (Dublin) School.

44.

asked the Minister for Education if plans have been submitted for the re-building of Belgrove girls' national school, Clontarf, Dublin; and if so, when it is intended to commence building operations.

Revised sketch plans for a new school to replace the existing Belgrove girls' national school have been submitted recently. These plans now require to be examined from both the educational and technical viewpoints. When approval has been given to the plans the manager's architect will be authorised to arrange for the preparation of the working drawings and bills of quantities preparatory to the invitation of tenders.

I am not, therefore, in a position to say at this stage when building operations will commence.
