Vol. 206 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drimnagh (Dublin) Development.

21.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position of the proposed development of the Long Mile Road, Drimnagh, Dublin; and when construction work will commence.

A compulsory purchase order made by the Dublin Corporation did not include all the lands required for the proposed scheme which would not be acquired by agreement and the submission of a further compulsory purchase order is awaited. Until the question of acquisition has been disposed of the commencement of construction work cannot be considered.
