Vol. 206 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Repair of Damaged Roundabout.

24.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that, as a result of many months delay on the part of the Dublin Corporation in repairing damaged brickwork on a roundabout at Mourne Road, Drimnagh, Dublin, additional damage has been caused by weather, children and wrongdoers, thereby increasing the cost of repair; whether those responsible for the delay in executing repairs can be made responsible for the loss; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am not so aware. I am informed by the Dublin Corporation that supplies of the special bricks required are on order and that as soon as they have been delivered the repairs will be undertaken.
