asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state in respect of North Tipperary (a) the number of applications for telephone services, and (b) the number of applications outstanding for one year or more.

The numbers are 130 and 30 respectively.

18.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state the number of applications for telephone service made during 1963 in the (a) Finglas East, (b) Finglas West, and (c) Cabra areas, Dublin, which have not yet received service; and when it is expected that these applications will be dealt with.

The answer is: (a) 111; (b)43, and (c) 70.

It is expected that the great majority of these cases will be cleared before the end of the year.
