asked the Minister for Local Government if representations were made to him by Limerick Corporation regarding the building of a bridge across the Shannon at Limerick, as such a bridge is now necessary to relieve the traffic congestion; and what decision was reached in the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a similar question asked by Deputy Coughlan on 14th April last. There has been no change in the position since that date.
