I understand that the preparation by the consulting engineer of revised contract documents for stage 1 of the scheme is well advanced. A Compulsory Purchase Order for the acquisition of land for the reservoir was received on 5th October and is being dealt with. I am not in a position to say when work on the scheme will be commenced.
