The tenders received by the Kerry County Council for the opening span of Valentia Bridge, together with a recommendation thereon by their consultant, were received in my Department four days ago. These documents are under examination. I am not at this stage in a position to indicate when approval could be given to the contract documents for the main bridge contract.
