Vol. 212 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clonmel Housing.

14.

asked the Minister for Local Government what proposals are at present before his Department with regard to the provision of houses by Clonmel Corporation; what number of houses are included in each such proposal; and when he expects to sanction each such proposal.

There is no proposal at present before my Department for the erection of houses by Clonmel Corporation. I have recently approved proposals by the Corporation to accept tenders for the erection of 46 dwellings at O'Donnell's Field and 40 dwellings at Cashel Road.

Would the Minister be good enough to indicate the date on which he gave approval?

Approval for Cashel Road was given on 3rd November, 1964 and for O'Donnell's Field on 6th November, 1964.
