36.

asked the Minister for Education the total number of schools in the city of Dublin in which there were fifty children on average in each class in January 1964, June 1964 and November 1964; and the percentage of schools in the city in which there are fifty children or more in a class.

37.

asked the Minister for Education what steps, in addition to the declared building programmes, have been taken by him for the provision of additional accommodation to reduce the number of children per class in the city of Dublin where the number at present is fifty or over.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 36 and 37 together. In relation thereto I would refer the Deputy to my replies of 3rd, 16th and 25th June, 1964 to previous questions on this subject.
