Vol. 213 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Accommodation for Itinerants.

50.

asked the Minister for Defence whether in view of the lack of a suitable site for an itinerant encampment in the Limerick area he will make available the land and huts at Knockalisheen that were availed of to house the Hungarian refugees and which have not been occupied since.

Knockalisheen Camp, County Clare, is not surplus to military requirements and accordingly it cannot be made available for use as an itinerant encampment.
