22.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of each county council, on the basis of the current rate in the pound, the rates payable on a farm dwelling and farm buildings valued £2 on a holding of £20 land valuation, giving (a) rates on buildings, (b) net rates on land, (c) total rates and (d) the rates payable on the same sized holding assuming abolition of rates on land and £4 valuation on buildings.

23.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of each county council, on the basis of the current rate in the pound, the rates payable on a farm dwelling and buildings of £2 valuation and agricultural land of £5 valuation, giving (a) rates on buildings, (b) net rates on land valuation, (c) total rates, and (d) total rates payable on the same sized holding assuming abolition of rates on agricultural land and £3 valuation on buildings.

I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 22 and 23 together and, as the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, to circulate it with the Official Report.

Details of the net rates on holdings of £20 land valuation in each county in respect of the current year were given in reply to a Question by the Deputy on the 4th November, 1964.

Following is the remaining information:
