Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wet-Time Stamps.

12.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the average weekly number of wet-time stamps sold in the last convenient quarter; and how this compares with previous years.

The average weekly number of wet-time stamps sold in the last quarter of 1964 was 33,237, as against 37,828 in the corresponding quarter of 1963. The former figure, which was affected by the strike in the building trade, represented increases of 924; 4,433; and 6,507 on the figures for the same quarters in 1962, 1961 and 1960 respectively.
