Vol. 215 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Leinster House Building Work.

7.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is expected that the extension and alterations to Leinster House will be completed and the new accommodation ready for occupation.

Mr. Gibbons

The alterations to the Press Block have already been completed and, so far as can be judged at present, the new office block, restaurant and kitchens will be completed and ready for occupation by January, 1966.

The other alterations will then be carried out as quickly as possible, regard being had of course to the necessity of minimising interference with the work of the House. Those alterations should be completed before the end of 1966.
