Vol. 215 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imports of Oil and Petroleum.

32.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if it is the policy of his Department to allow the import of oil or petroleum other than that which is processed at Whitegate refinery, County Cork; and, if so, if he will state under what circumstances such imports are permitted; and whether they are under Government licence.

A licence is not required for the importation of oil or petroleum which may be imported on payment of the appropriate customs duty.
