asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in respect of the Palmer Estate at Rush (a) the acreage of land available for subdivision amongst local applicants; (b) the average estimated acreage of each holding to be allotted; (c) the number of applicants to whom allocations will be made; (d) the area of land being reserved for sale with the mansion and (e) the area of land reserved for development by Dublin County Council.

Following are the replies to the various parts of the question:—

(a) 165 acres, approximately.

(b) 3a. Or. 18p.

(c) 53 (The bulk of these allotments have already been made; it is hoped to allot the remainder this week).

(d) 60 acres, approximately.

(e) It is expected that the balance of the estate, namely, about 34 acres, or most of this area, will be available for offer to Dublin County Council for development.
