asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state for the latest available year the amount of money collected in South Tipperary by way of motor taxation; and the amount paid to that area by way of road grants.

The amount of motor taxation collected by Tipperary (SR) County Council in the financial year ended 31st March, 1965, was £213,195.

The total Road Fund grants allocated to the council in the same period was £263,421.
