As the Deputy is, no doubt, aware, a statement by the directors of Shannon Chicken Ltd. which was reported in the public press on 14th May, 1965 indicated that the finance on which they were relying for the poultry houses for the participating farmers was no longer available because of the credit condition on the London money market and that, therefore, they had decided to postpone the project until the necessary finance was available.
