Yes. The scheme will be continued in 1966. As I have already announced if it should at any time be decided to discontinue the scheme adequate advance notice would be given to producers.

Under the terms of the scheme, payment of the grants in this case is conditional on the herd-owner's retaining a number of cows recently introduced into his herd. Verification that these cows have been retained will be made by an inspection to be carried out during the next month or so.
