asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he is yet in a position to state when landing and other facilities will be made available at Darby's Point, County Mayo.

I have nothing to add to my reply to the Deputy's question of 16th March, 1966, on this subject.

When will the Minister have news of a less vague nature about these projects? What is the present situation?

The first thing is a boring survey and this is under active consideration.

Does active consideration include visiting the scene?

By the people who are "actively considering".

Well, they have not been there.

Can the Deputy not leave it to Deputy Lindsay? It is in his part of the county.

It is in my constituency.

It is a joint stock bank.

The last time we met your colleague in Crossmolina. I want to ask the Minister if he is aware that this project has been promised by Fianna Fáil down the years? I want to say that despite the fact that this has been promised——

That promise will be kept.
