asked the Taoiseach the value and quantity of butter exported to Britain in the present year.

Domestic exports of butter to Britain in the period January-July, 1966 (the latest period for which such information is available) amounted to 159,734 cwts, value £2,611,375.

What was the subsidy on that?

The figures for last year were 129,545 cwt. value £2,308,797.

The Parliamentary Secretary was not even asked that.

What was the subsidy on that?

That is a separate question.

It is an important question.
