13.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power the number of vessels chartered by Irish Shipping Ltd. for 1963, 1964 and 1965, and the first nine months of 1966.

14.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power the number of vessels Irish owned and Irish registered operated by Irish Shipping, Ltd. for the period 1963 to 1965, and the first nine months of 1966.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 13 and 14 together.

The numbers of Irish owned and Irish registered vessels operated by Irish Shipping Ltd. in each of the years 1963, 1964 and 1965 and in the first nine months of 1966 were 21, 20, 18 and 15 respectively.

The company had no vessel on charter in the years 1963 and 1964. It chartered two vessels for periods in 1965 and one vessel—for a period— in the first nine months of 1966.

Does the Minister consider that this fleet will be sufficient to bring home Mr. Colley's emigrants, the imminent arrival of whom he announced in America?

He came home himself.

Is there any chance of exporting the Deputy?

I read it on today's papers, which are very reliable.
