Vol. 225 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Crumlin Swimming Pool.

78.

asked the Minister for Local Government the reason for the delay in sanctioning the provision of an urgently needed swimming pool at Windmill Road, Crumlin, Dublin; and when Dublin Corporation will be given permission to proceed with the plan.

As indicated in replies given to Question Nos. 62, 63 and 64 on 27th September last, it is desired to have the views of the members of Dublin Corporation after their inspection of the new swimming pool at Longford before arranging for discussions with them on their general swimming pool programme, which includes the provision of a pool at Crumlin. I understand that arrangements for the proposed inspection of the Longford pool have not yet been finalised.
