Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Gaeltacht (Mr. Faulkner) (for the Minister for Lands)
The Land Commission understand that the estate in question has been sold locally but their formal sanction for the transaction has not been sought. Such sanction is required only in certain well-defined circumstances and if it is necessary in this case the purchaser's solicitor will, no doubt, seek it as a matter of perfecting title. The Land Commission have no precise information as to whether the lands are being used as a stud farm.
