Vol. 228 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Private Cars in Dublin Barracks.

33.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware of the annoyance caused by the conditions imposed on employees bringing their motor vehicles into Clancy Barracks, Dublin; when and why the restrictions were imposed; and if he will now have them removed.

I am aware that a number of civilian employees working in Clancy Barracks have refused to comply with conditions laid down for the parking of their motor vehicles in the area of the barracks. These conditions were imposed in September, 1966, for security reasons and it is not proposed to revoke them.
