Vol. 228 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Carrick-on-Suir Castle.

30.

asked the Minister for Finance what work has as yet to be completed at Carrick-on-Suir Castle; the cost involved; and when the work in question is likely to be attended to.

Conservation works were completed at Carrick-on-Suir Castle in 1961. Apart from routine maintenance, the Commissioners of Public Works have no proposals for the execution of further works at the monument.

May I take it that as far as the Board of Works are concerned, the work is completed in every detail?

Apart from routine maintenance work, yes. There are no further proposals for additional work.
