Vol. 230 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Demolition of Dublin Dwellings.

31.

(Dublin) asked the Minister for Local Government when the substandard dwellings in Keogh Square, Dublin, will be fully demolished; and what the plans for future development are for this area.

I understand from Dublin Corporation that while a number of flats at Keogh Square have been closed or demolished, they are not yet in a position to indicate when the remaining dwellings will be demolished; that a final decision has not been made as to the future development of this site, but that it is probable that it will ultimately be redeveloped for municipal housing.
