Vol. 231 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - EEC Industrial Conditions.

33.

asked the Minister for Labour if in order to familiarise workers with EEC industrial conditions he will consider making funds available for the establishment of a scheme to enable Irish workers to undertake two or three day educational excursions to EEC countries, under which scheme employers and employees would also contribute, and in connection with which Aer Lingus would offer special fares at nominal rates during slack periods.

Any proposals which the parties interested in a scheme of this kind may decide to put forward will be considered.
