Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Kiosks.

41.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the need for public telephone service at Glenagivney, County Donegal; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this valley was isolated during the snow storm in mid-December, 1967, when the services of a doctor were urgently required; and if in view of all this he will arrange to have a telephone service provided which will be available to the public.

A kiosk is not warranted at the place in question.

42.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange for the installation of a telephone kiosk at Staplestown, Donadea, County Kildare.

A kiosk is not warranted at the place in question.

43.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that in view of the considerably increased housing accommodation in the village there is now a pressing need for a public outdoor telephone kiosk in Dromahane, Mallow, County Cork; and if he will have one provided as soon as possible.

The provision of a kiosk at the place in question will be considered when the additional housing accommodation has been provided.
