Vol. 234 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Barley Stocks.

10.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if the present barley stocks are adequate for this country's needs; and if there is likely to be a large carry-over to next season.

On the basis of present consumption, the existing stocks of barley will be exhausted by the end of August. The question of a large carry-forward to next season does not, therefore, arise.
