Vol. 240 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Tourist Development.

asked the Minister for Local Government if, in view of the large projected hotel and farm holiday development in County Kerry, he will have further moneys allocated to Kerry County Council for water and sewerage schemes to allow the development to forge ahead for the benefit of the nation.

The capital available for sanitary and miscellaneous services is allocated as equitably as possible as between the various local authorities throughout the country. Any increase in the allocation for one area such as that suggested, could be made only at the expense of some other area or areas.
