Vol. 242 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Survey of Kerry River.

44.

asked the Minister for Finance what progress has been made on the survey of river flow and tidal conditions in connection with the proposed drainage of the River Lee at Tralee, County Kerry; and when work will commence on the drainage scheme there.

Normal progress is being maintained but, as indicated in reply to the Deputy's question last March, it is not possible to say when a scheme for the catchment might commence.

About 1970?

The estimate given last March of two years is still fairly accurate.
