May I ask the Minister if this tabular statement includes all the universities?

Yes, it includes UCD, UCG, UCC and TCD.

Could the Minister say if the table deals with separate failure rates for summer and autumn?

It gives the number of candidates and the failure rate.

I would ask the Minister to look at this more closely. I am not aware of the ready availability of figures showing the net failure rate.

The failure rate in respect of each college indicates the percentage of candidates who were not successful in either the summer or autumn examinations.
