Vol. 246 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Social Welfare Cards.

24.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the position regarding social welfare insurance of the employees of a firm (name supplied) in Dublin, whose premises were broken into recently and the social welfare cards stolen.

As inquiries in the matter established to the satisfaction of my Department that the stolen cards had, in fact, been duly stamped, the insurance records of all the employees concerned have been credited with the appropriate contributions and any outstanding claims for social welfare benefit have been met.
