Vol. 251 No. 3

Business of Dáil.

Before taking the Order of Business, I wish to point out that I put down a question about an advertisement in Radio Telefís Éireann which related to television licences. You, for reasons which appeared good and sufficient to you, ruled the question out of order.

The Deputy is not in order in raising it in this fashion. The Deputy could have seen me and I could have explained——

I conveyed a message through the appropriate officer and if he did not give it to you that is no fault of mine.

The Deputy may not make a point at this stage.

I am entitled to raise a point of order.

The Deputy may not advert to my ruling in this manner. The Deputy is completely out of order.

It is a shame to the organisation and it is a shame to the Minister who, having heard the notice, should have shut them up.
