Vol. 252 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Commission Holdings in Kerry.

29.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in respect of County Kerry (1) the number of holdings in the possession of the Land Commission and as yet not sub-divided; (2) when these holdings were acquired; (3) the area and description of each holding; (4) the number of applicants for each holding; (5) the number and identity of holdings which have been and are the subject of letting; and (6) when it is intended to sub-divide each holding.

The position regarding lands in the possession of the Land Commission for distribution is subject to constant fluctuation, depending on progress in allotment and intake. This is particularly so at this time of any year as Land Commission activities in the allotment of land reach their peak.

Perhaps it would meet the Deputy's requirements if I refer him to the list of estates in the possession of the Land Commission in County Kerry as at 16th February, 1971, which I supplied in reply to Question No. 15 on that day—Volume 251 (9), columns 1313 to 1318.
