The reply to the major portion of this question is in the form of a tabular statement which, with your permission a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.
Land Bonds are issued and placed to credit of each estate as from the date of its vesting in the Land Commission. To give the value of bonds one year from the date of issue in every case would require examination of the records of some thousand or more estates, which would not be warranted.
Following is the statement:
Land Bonds issued (i.e. put to credit of estate accounts in the Bank of Ireland) in respect of purchase moneys of estates in the ten financial years 1960-61 to 1969-70.
