The project to establish an environmental field study centre at Lough Gartan, County Donegal, is at preliminary planning stage. The provision for conservation included in the Supplementary Estimate for Forestry for 1970-71 will, it is envisaged, be utilised, inter alia, to defray the costs of projects such as this.
